Happy Belated Birthday Mike!

May 23rd my oldest son Michael turned 29, can you believe that? It was just yesterday that he was a baby, or playing baseball, or football, or mustering the courage to pick up the phone to ask a girl on a date. Those fun days are behind him now, he's getting old and even turning grey. He has an awesome family of his own now. I wanted to to pay tribute to my oldest son and wish him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

A couple of years ago, Craig and I, Mike and Tammy and little Kylie went to Savannah, Georgia.

Two of my handsome sons, Scott and Michael.

Aww, I had to put this picture of Kayla's birthday. All of us are looking a little worn out and Tammy did all the work. Thanks, Tammy!

Four generations! Who'd have thought, it's great!

Here is that little baseball player, he was an Allstar!

I had to include this picture, I can't believe I sent him to school in a sweater vest. Oh well, he looks cute!
Michael loved his Grandma Nebeker! I'm pretty sure the feeling was mutual.

Six weeks old here. No idea how old Grandma and Grandpa are, but they sure look great!

17 days old. With nothing to worry about. Although he does look a little worried. Mike was such a good baby. Slept through the night the second night after we brought him home. He has always been so special to me, I am thankful to be his mom!

Cap and Gown, Diploma in Hand, Nikki's graduation!

This picture below is at Seminary Graduation.
Faces of old and faces of new,
People we know and people we knew.
Growing together then drifting apart,
Always an ending and now a new start.
At graduation we all grow nearer
And all our friends seem so much dearer.
And as we say our final goodbye,
One last embrace and one more cry,
A "keep in touch" and a "promise I will"
A "remember when" but better still,
A place in my heart, you'll always stay,
That is what's said as we go our own way.

You were six months old and full of fun.
With a blink of my eye, you suddenly were one.
There were so many things we were going to do,
But I turned my head and you turned two.
At two, you were very dependent on me,
But independence took over when you turned three.
Your third birthday, another year I tried to ignore,
But when I lit the candles there weren't three, but four.
Four was the year that you really strived,
Why, look at you now, you're already five.
Now you are ready for books and rules.
This is the year that you go to school.
The big day came; you were anxious to go.
We walked to the bus, going oh so slow.
As you climbed aboard and waved goodbye, I felt a lump in my throat and tears stung my eyes.
Time goes so fast, it's hard to believe, That just yesterday you were home here, with me.
And tomorrow when the bus brings you home and you jump to the ground,
You'll be wearing your cap and graduation gown.
So I'm holding to these moments as hard as I can, Because the next time I look, You'll be gone again.

I thought it was time to post about Nikki's high school graduation. Where does the time go? Our youngest is all grown up. It's bittersweet. I am so proud of her and so thankful she is my daughter!

Yeah! Becca's College Graduation!

Today was a very special and memorable day, Rebecca graduated from SUU!
Bachelor of Arts/English degree.

She did it, she did it! She set her goal and achieved it. We are such proud parents!

The family just hanging out, wasting some time before the ceremony began. So many people! Tyler goofing for the camera.

SUU is such a beautiful campus, lots of photo ops and if you know me, you know that I took advantage!

Me and my girls
Nicole, Rebecca, and me - (wow I look tired)

The Prophet, Thomas S. Monson spoke at the commencement. He gave a very upbeat and positive address. How cool is that!

Tyler and Nikki cheesin' it up for the camera.

It's tradition at SUU to pose for a picture with these statues. Becca chose Shakespeare, notice she is posing just like the statue. Silly!

Nikki and Senior Ball

Saturday was Senior Ball. Here are a few pictures of Nikki and her date, Spencer.

She looked gorgeous in her dress. Originally it was $300.00, we found it on sale and a steal at $99.00. It was made for her, both the fit and the color. The last formal dance, bittersweet.

They were a cute couple. Spencer was awesome to wear a bright pink vest and tie, he looked handsome. The flowers were also a perfect match. Awww, sigh......I hate this whole graduation thing!

Fun! Fun! Playing in the Sprinklers!

It started out innocent enough. After dinner the girls and I went outside to play and water the flowers. Kylie kept asking for the rainbow (I spray the hose up in the air into an arch). What can I say, I couldn't resist, afterall the weather was warm enough. It was so much fun!

Kylie was so proud of her hand and footprints on the sidewalk.

That water can was a little too heavy for Kayla, it was a good try though. The more wet she got the bigger her cute little outfit was. She didn't seem to mind!

Here Kayla is sitting in the back of a toy dump truck. She planted herself there and the sprinkler kept going back and forth soaking her.

Two words come to my mind looking at the joy on Kylies face. Pure Bliss!

EASTER!

The Beautiful Easter eggs Nikki and Kylie made.

Kayla was happy just to be able to hold one. She liked the orange one the best!

Ahhh, aren't cousins the best? Hanna and Kylie

These girls are so dang cute! The Saturday before Easter was perfect. Scott and Jaimie came for a visit! With all four grandkids running around, it was heaven!

Tanner is the leader and truley one of Kylies favorite people! I don't know why I have such a hard getting him to be still long enough for a picture. He's so busy! Looks like they are sharing a secret!

Kayla Turns One! and Nikki goes to Preference!

Saturday, March 28th was Kayla's first birthday. It was such a fun day, playing at the park. She's such a little doll, with her big smile. Although she wouldn't look at the camera, her profile is adorable!

She is definately a Mommies girl. I thought this picture was priceless.

Kylie had fun playing on all of the playground equipment. She has no fear and wants to try everything, by herself. She is undisputedly "Grandma's girl" just ask her!

"B is for Bubble" It was fun till they spilled out on to the grass.

This park is fun for the big kids too. Becca, Devon and Mike had a little too much fun.

Kylie had to take a spin,

Nikki before she left to pick up her date for Preference, of course she was beautiful.
