He's back! Craig loves soccer, it's his passion. He's had some health issues for the past few years and hasn't been able to participate. I've blogged about it before and some of you may know that in May 2003 Craig had 6 heart bypasses then, after 8 months of dialysis, in October 2003, our son Scott donated a kidney to his dad. Then 18 months later Craig had a pancreas transplant.
This year two of our grandkids started playing soccer. I think that being a spectator was too much for him. He volunteered to referee - HE'S BACK!
As a bonus Scott volunteered too.
I HAVE SO MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR!
These pictures aren't the best. Both Scott and Craig weren't in the posing mood.
I'm so glad you snapped these pictures! Scott wouldn't pose for me either. But they will both be glad that you documented such a fun memory for them.
ReplyDeleteah that is so fun! You didn't tell me! Scooter Pie huh.....

ReplyDeleteThey look the part but the pictures don't show the correct technique. I mean they're both in the middle of the field and one's looking down at the ground. I'm surprised at them for all those years they preached a good sermon about how to play, and this is what I get? :) Well for what it's worth it's a good thing he's back out on the field. Just remember he can and will kick you out if you bark to much.:)
ReplyDeleteThe game hadn't started yet in the picture you're talking about Shawn. I miss watching you play soccer, you were awesome!
